  Elden Ring is, the best game ever made, not a question about it, however in march 2026, oasis bought out 13.7% of kodokawa who owns FromSoftware, this makes oasis the largest share holder of kodokawa, oasis's biggest focus is "pushing for changes to boost shareholder returns", one of thier most shocking propositions was to nintendo in 2013, in which they proposed and idea for nintendo to go mobile and push things such as 99c micro transactions to "make mario jump higher", this is exactly what is happening to elden ring right now, a $5 usd micro transaction for what is essentially two armour sets, they have already been bought out, and it is only going to get worse, but if YOU and other buy these dlc's you are only giving them what they want and this will only make it worse. DO NOT BUY THE MICRO TRANSACTIONS

  Horse armor Dlc. Nice 5$. Crisp nothing burger update to add a paywall to starting classes. and like. a handfull of armors. Don't buy it. please. if you do its only going to get worse. it starts with 5$ and ends with mobile games and FF7r's Triple purchase.

  I love this game and up until now this was a positive review. Elden ring tarnished edition made me change my opinion. It's not about the money , it's about the disrespect.

  Elden Ring was my first souls game. I started on PS4 and got the platinum, then did the same on PS5, and now I’ve finally 100% completed it on Steam. After playing it this much, I can easily say it’s one of my favorite games of all time. The world, exploration, bosses, builds, there’s just so much to this game, and I never got tired of coming back to it. If you’ve never played a souls game before, I still highly recommend giving elden ring a try. It was my first one too, when I first played it, I had no idea what I was doing and ended up looking up videos to figure things out since the game doesn't really guide you like most games do. dnt be afraid to look things up if you're stuck, take your time, explore, and learn the game at your own pace. It's an absolute masterpiece, can’t recommend it enough, and I can’t wait to see what FromSoftware does next.

  FromSoft selling themselves out for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horse armor DLC. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dissapointment. Meanwhile CDPR out there polishing the game and dropping it for free.

  The double irony that Fromsoft chose to tarnish this masterpiece with a dlc called the tarnished pack and that also being horse armor of all things. If it wasn't so sad I'd be laughing. On a serious note, yes I hear you people, it's just 5 bucks, it's comparatively good value. But none of that changes that Elden Ring used to be a pure, excellent, no mtx game and now there is stuff paywalled within. This is more than scary for the future of From to me and this move definitely kicked Fromsoft out of the League of Devs I can trust blindly. Insanely bad business decision, Elden Ring would have and still will generate stupid amounts of revenue for years to come. Why would you risk to tarnish your reputation if this is not the way you plan to handle things in the future?

  Historically, time is divided into BC and AD. For me, it's Before Elden Ring and After Elden Ring.

  Torrent just doesn't spawn anymore. Broke the game to add a $5 horse dlc 4 years after release. Actual brain dead devs
