  I honestly cant remember the last time i had this much fun playing a coop game, i laughed SO much playing this with my boyfriend and its easily one of the best coop experiences ive ever had!! hazelight somehow managed to surpass it takes two, which i already considered one of the most creative coop games ever made, and split fiction takes that same idea and goes even further with the creativity!! The gameplay keeps changing constantly and every new chapter feels like the developers came up with another crazy idea just to make you say "wtf" and then immediately start laughing. one moment youre exploring a fantasy world, then suddenly youre inside a sci fi scenario with completely different mechanics and the best part is that almost everything requires actual teamwork. there are parts where one player has to control something while the other uses the result to progress, moments where you have completely different abilities and need to coordinate them and even sections where you have to trust your partner and react to whats happening around you. its not just two people playing next to each other, the whole game is designed around cooperation :3 the boss fights are also amazing and k

  Split Fiction is a game where you can feel the passion behind it in practically every minute you play. There is an almost ridiculous amount of creativity packed into it. Every level introduced some new idea, mechanic, visual style, and so much more—just when I thought I'd figured out what kind of game I was playing, it turned into another game entirely. At various points, I was playing pinball, controlling shapeshifting robots, snowboarding for points, crossing between completely different worlds, solving wonderfully creative puzzles, and dealing with situations so absurd that we couldn't stop laughing. Then, somehow, the game managed to turn around and deliver moments that genuinely made us cry. The side stories deserve particular praise because they were not just filler content, but rather little explosions of creativity in their own right that I doubt I'll experience anywhere else. The Halloween-themed one was my favourite, especially the flower-planting section. Some of the funniest moments in the game came from them!   Split Fiction is like u drink some absinthe and suddenly find ursf in a bookstore where all the books open at the same time and mix together. But you're not reading them you're living inside each one. As for the gameplay it's a crazy mix of different geners. The game keeps giving you smth new all the time. The action is fast, the mechanics keep changing and u always wonder "what's next?". The only thing that confuses me is controls. When you're used to "up" meaning up and then suddenly it's the opposite it feels strange at first. But u get used to it quickly so it's funnier than a real problem. Story about two young writers, Zoe (a fantasy nerd) and Mio (a cyberpunk fan). They bring their stories to a big company but get trapped in a setup that wants to steal their ideas. One of them tries to be friendly and make it work while the other just wants to escape and get out as fast as possible. They have no choice but to team up and go through each other's virtual worlds to defeat the corporation. At the end of the day they do save the world but not before they yell at each other about fifty times along the way. The graphics are absolutely stunning. You can tell it's built on u

  Just finished the game, and it was truly marvelous. You can see all the love the devs put into this, the references to all different games and genre's, truly a work of passion.

  they just re released "It Takes Two" with different mechanics and different people. But the Story is Weak af. "I don't like you" and "I don't like you," but "we both hate this company because they're stealing our ideas and capitalism is bad, so we have to work together" and at the end of the story "oh, we like each other now, lets take on the big bad." this game would've gone so much harder if it wasn't shoving "capitalism is bad" in your face. if it was more subtle the entire game, then concluded with them finding out their ideas were getting stolen and doing something about it, the story would feel more real to IRL companies. Instead of "evil corporation is evil" also. EA

  9/10 as a co-op game, split fiction combines a fun, meaningful story with interactive, creative gameplay. each chapter involves a refreshing concept that continues to keep the player's experience fresh and exciting! the visuals alone add so much charm and it kept me wanting to discover what more there is to see. i personally enjoyed the unique sidestories in each chapter and the ending sequence with the final boss! i'd 100% play it all over again! overall, a masterpiece friends and couples are looking to enjoy~

  genuine, heartfelt, lovely gaming experience. great team-building exercises and puzzle-solving. during any and all moments where my fate was in my girlfriend's delicate palms, all manner of cruel, unusual, torturous tribulations were mercilessly delivered unto my fragile person. 8.5/10 (1.5 points docked for psychological scarring).
