Found this game very disappointing. There's so many positive reviews I thought it would be as fun as the previous ones, but I was wrong. I don't really care for the story but Crane's characterization felt inconsistent. The parkour was lame and didn't flow as well as the previous games. The map doesn't lend well to the parkour either. There's one main area for running around on rooftops and they will suddenly drop off. There's a heavy reliance on cars too, which is some people's tea but not mine. I'd rather be running around doing fun parkour than driving from point A to point B with no danger. I also miss the parkour races, they were fun. The car races bored me but they were fine I guess. The combat was fine but the weapons were boring as well. Once I was able to grapple enemies and smash their heads that was all I did. Coop is buggy but serviceable. Definitely would hate to play this alone. Overall, I dreaded playing it most of the time but I wanted to finish it. I found myself wishing I was playing the other games rather than this one. If parkour was a big reason you liked the previous games I wouldn't recommend this one!

Why the flying ♥♥♥♥ is this game reviewed so positively. This sucks. The only thing that's better are the visuals, and they're good, but man, the game underneath is so much worse in every regard. They really designed Dying Light in 2015 and then just fired every designer and kept vaguely remembering the design after each iteration. At least this time the developers played the last game before starting making this one.

Well, friends, first of all, I have to say that I love the *Dying Light* game series 😎️❤️ I think parkour is incredibly exciting and highly practical in a Apocalyptic world so, if zombies ever take over the world, make sure you know parkour ^o^ And thanks to the game's creator for the interesting idea I really enjoyed it 💗️ 💗️ 💗️ Well, the game's graphics saw remarkable improvement; they were truly excellent and visually stunning ♬ ♬ ♬ The soundtrack is a masterpiece, too; I always enjoy listening to it, as it evokes a special sense of nostalgia ♬ ♬ ♬ The game's combat system was just as engaging as in previous installments, and the addition of firearms was an interesting idea; however, melee combat is more enjoyable ≧^◡^≦ The Volatiles were truly terrifying in this series; encountering them at night almost certainly meant death, which made the game even More beautiful and scarier 😎️ 🖤 ッッッ I have a few criticisms here ッッッ The addition of the grappling hook was excellent and perfectly captured the feel of the original *Dying Light1 *, but the removal of the parachute was truly disappointing; I had hoped the parachute would be included in this game (◡‿◡✿) Anot

Finished the story on co-op. Game was incredibly buggy the entire time. Mechanics were unreliable at best and made the game frustrating to play. When parkouring it feels as if Kyle just randomly decides not to grab ledges. Zombies will grab you from 10 feet away, pulling you into a QTE. Sometimes, your weapons will swing right through enemies despite standing face to face. I played the first Dying Light back in the day, and it felt much faster. Dying Light: The Beast feels so slow in comparison. The boss battles are underwhelming overall, but there is one in particular near the end of the game which was totally broken for us. The boss would teleport around the arena and instantly start attacks without any queues. It would also start running in fast-forward from one end of the arena toward me or my friend, making it very difficult to make space for healing. Pretty lame. This boss battle was so broken for us that we almost decided to call it quits. We did stick it out in the end but it was not enjoyable. The story is mediocre to say the least. My friend and I found it difficult to care about anything that was happening. The characters are dumb and not very interesting. They do st

Sadly this one is the weakest entry in the Dying Light franchise. It has a long list of problems that keep it from being a great game. In no particular order those are: -some puzzles are illogical -the volatiles are a downgrade compared to the previous games. They don't patrol the city, they are absent from dark zones, are very overstated ( you need legend levels to fight them, even beast form doesn't help) and worse of all the game dynamically spawns them so you always have to deal with them at night. This makes night time exploration simply not worth it because you will constantly have to look out and in case of triggering one, you have no choice but to run into a safe zone. In the previous game you could simply find another route, be more safe or simply lose the chase. Here that's not really possible. -the parkour is kinda clunky, there are weird bounces from walls and the overall smoothness of the parkour is worse than in previous games. -even after the recent update the game still has some weird bugs like flying fish, items cutting into textures, enemies having no collision and sticking out of walls, flying in place if you jump on a wall, doors not reacting to the open

Some good, some bad - the game I personally found Dying Light The Beast very difficult to review. As the third game in the Dying Light series, it tries to bridge the gap left between the first and the second instalment, trying to go back to "the roots" of the first game, but also not giving up on the gameplay and creative changes introduced in the second game. It's a tall order to fill, and while it doesn't necessarily fail, it also doesn't completely manage to live up to the promised. It's really nice to see Kyle again, even in these (for him) unfortunate circumstances. Trapped and experimented on, he's finally free and ready for payback. While nostalgic to have him and his snappy attitude back, the story itself leaves a lot to be desired. It's really quite simple and straightforward, backed up by a vague goal of revenge. Feels as if Kyle is an elephant clumsily flailing around with no clear objective or idea on how to execute said goal. Definitely doesn't help that the supporting cast is so bland that I've forgotten who they were the moment their quest chain was completed. Dying Light as a franchise was never a quality storytelling one, it offered a straightforwa

This is not a good game. I really wish it was and have given it a shot, but I would much rather play the previous game(s) than play more of this. They took Dying Light and made it worse almost over all different parts of the game. Base game difficulty scales with your level based on story progression. A basic zombie/viral will destroy you all the same at level 1 or 15. On new game plus, even your instagib face stepping won't one shot a basic zombie anymore. Bullet sponge enemies are extremely real. Story wise, the story is contrived and doesn't seem to know if it wants to be whacky and silly or serious. The ''twists and turns'' in the game you can see coming from 10 miles away and Crane seems to forget the things he promises to those that betray him. Barely any of the NPCs are likeable, and unless you turn your brain off completely make it extremely obvious they could not care less for Kyle and are using him. Yet Kyle has zero agency or thoughts of himself and just goes along with whatever, even clear misdirections and the lack of player choice is staggering. The ''gear'' and leveling system is extremely bland. There are no fun ''unique'' weapons in this game with special effects
