  --updated review-- Apparently things have been patched and the game is running great with confirmed private lobbies from multiple sources. I'm not one to change my reviews, but I will add this addendum to say the devs reached out and fixed the issue. Will I be back? I dunno. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ~~ Original review below ~~ DO NOT PURCHASE - SORRY DEVS, GAME IS COOL BUT WAY UNSAFE alright so - this game is not being recommended because it doesnt seem safe on the p2p level. i have video evidence of being .. basically invaded like this was a dark souls game, and then player killed with my whole team of FOUR. meaning a FIFTH party was able to enter THE GAME I WAS HOSTING and before it happened by gpu started going bonkers, completely over driven. the devs need to get a hold of this situation, it is entirely unsafe for people to be playing a game that can easily be broken into by a script kiddie with nothing better to do proof: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2853065103 --end of original review-- edit below are answers to the now closed comments section confirmed not to be a viewer - double checked every list, double checked every connection id, double checked my

  Was having fun playing the game with friends until suddenly someone joined our game screaming Islamic profanities and started exploding. Then the game ended and we were kicked to the main menu. Clearly something is not secure on the backend for the game if a complete random can do this.

  1. My friend and I were shipwrecked on an island 2. We drank a lot of beer 3. A crab killed us 4. We reenacted the scene from Titanic 5-We got guns and spent the rest of the game killing each other and gambling 6-We didn't learn a single thing about fishing 10/10 experience, couldn't ask for more

  Fun premise attached to a garbage lackluster game, fish, get money, buy gun, kill boss, move to next island, repeat 4 times and that's the game, like 2 hours of content if you are slow. No replay value. No item diversity. No boss diversity they all charge you and 2 shot you. This is some sh*t you'd play on roblox that would have 3 active players but because we are in a good game draught people will flock to whatever a streamer is promoting. Save your money, no amount of friends is making this game good.

  This game is only about 3 hours long, but you’ll already be sick of it after the first hour. A new island, a new fish, a new gun, a new boss, and then the same thing all over again. The fish may have different designs, but mechanically they’re all basically the same. They either jump away from you or jump at you trying to kill you. Overall, it’s boring and repetitive, even when playing with a friend. I really don’t understand the hype. There are plenty of much more interesting and worthwhile games on Steam for the same price.

  This is my first ever Steam review in like over 12 years of gaming. I decided to play this game with my wife. As a chill goofy game. Not knowing it would be one of the funnest experiences I've had in a while. This game is rewarding. The mechanics, physics, gun play, everything really! Great jobs on the developers. Truly a must play game!
