Your soldiers grow old. Gray Company is an autobattler roguelite about a mercenary company marching through a 12-battle campaign. Recruit soldiers at each muster, set the order of the line, and watch the battles resolve — then live with what marches back. Every battle survived is a season of a soldier's life. Recruits become regulars, regulars become scarred veterans, and veterans turn graybeard — slower, wiser, steadying the soldiers beside them. Retire them with honors and they leave an heirloom for the next generation of their lineage. Let them fall, and all that comes home is a memento.
